Name of the dish and origin: 

Chocolate Chip Cookies - Chocolate Chip cookies are an American creation by the famous baker Ruth Graves Wakefield. It has since become one of the most famous cookie types in the world. 

What inspired you to make the dish:

I obviously love chocolate and wanted to try to make this cookie. 

What did you like about the food:

The raw dough itself was excellent. The best raw cookie dough I had ever tasted. I had also put 3 different types of chocolate so it really added some depth of flavor that would have been missing if only one type of chocolate chip was added.  What would you have done differently or how did you modify the recipe:

Even though I followed the recipe below to the best of my ability, it became painfully obvious that the amount of flour was off in my dough. I had too little flour and so the cookies became thin and greasy when baked. The lesson here is always measure flour by weight and not by volume as volume can change depending on how much air is mixed into the flour.
