DECEMBER 2019

Every year my family takes a holiday getaway in the Chicago city! We ate food at the Christkindlmarket, saw a Cirque du Soleil Show at the Chicago Theatre, and dressed up for nice family dinners.

NOVEMBER 2019

First bears game with the family at Soldier Field. Bears beat the Lions, 20-13. Just because the temperature says 40 degrees, does not mean you can only go wearing one jacket!

MAY 2019

My first international trip with the family to Italy! We spend most of our time in Rome, and we took day trips to Florence, Pompeii, and Amalfi. Our favorite foods were carbonara and pistachio gelato.

APRIL 2019

First time spending Nowruz (Persian New Year) with my family after four years.

DECEMBER 2018

I traveled for the first time internationally to visit a friend in Japan! We spent Christmas and New Years together, as he guided me through the cities and shrines of Tokyo. It was an unforgettable two week to be immersed in a new culture taking in all the sites and food.

OCTOBER 2018

I traveled to New York just to see a Kpop Concert and visit friends. 10/10 would do again!

JULY 2018

I started my professional career as a management consultant at KPMG. I wanted to transition over to the technical space to expand on my business education, and understand how technology can help drive change in the media/entertainment industry.

MAY 2018

I graduated from the University of Miami with both my degrees. I said farewell to a place I called home for four years…the Starbucks at the Student Activities Center.

MARCH 2018

I finally got a picture with Sebastian the Ibis

MARCH 2018

I participated in my last Holi at the U!

FEBRUARY 2018

I’m famous! Drake shot some of his music video for “God’s Plan” at the University of Miami. If you look real closely, you can see me in the crowd of fans.

JUNE 2017

I spent my summer in Miami to intern at the Arsht, a performing arts center. I learned how important it is to work as a team and the new ways the Arsht tries to make theatre accessible to all.

FEBRUARY 2017

This month, Swaggeraas traveled to Chicago and got fourth place. I loved being a part of this team at my school and learning a new style of dance/culture.

DECEMBER 2016

I skied for the first time with my family! Turns out I wasn’t too bad and all those years of ice skating did not go to waste.

SEPTEMBER 2016

I house managed my first show at the Jerry Herman Ring Theatre at the University of Miami.

JUNE 2016

Started my first internship at Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. I loved that I got to spend the summer in my favorite city, and more importantly, I was learning how a theatre company ran outside of the classroom.

DECEMBER 2015

Trip to Hawaii with the extended family!

SEPTEMBER 2015

I was part of a competitive Garba-Raas dance team at my school, called Swaggeraas. We competed across the US and performed at school events and weddings!

AUGUST 2015

Turns out I love food so much, that I decided to create a new Instagram dedicated to home cooked meals from different cultures, fun restaurants from around the glove, and workout motivation tips!

AUGUST 2015

I hiked to Camp Muir on Mount Rainier! My cousin did not think I had the stamina to pull this off, but I trained on the stair master for months and pulled it off easily.

FEBRUARY 2015

I was initiated into Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity. It was great to be a part of a community of dedicated business students.

OCTOBER 2014

After a few month as school, I realized my passion and strengths were in the business school and media. I did not have the same drive as other pre-med students. After speaking with family and friends, I realized I needed to make a huge career change. I worked with both the Business School and Arts & Sciences to graduate with two degrees that no one has ever sought to combine. My passion through the years was in theatre and art, and I wanted to truly understand how to run it like a business.

OCTOBER 2014

First of many football games at the U!

AUGUST 2014

I chose to go to the University of Miami for my undergrad studies in Pre-Med. I was not sure what I wanted to do after college, but from experience, it seemed that the medical route was the way to go. I wanted to go somewhere far from home to grow as an individual.
